Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.
Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.
Child Protective Services must be stopped! The law that started this, CAPTA, must be repealed. We must work tirelessly to inform the public of this very dangerous travesty of justice. We must keep faith knowing that if there is a God, there is an answer and a way to end this heartache.
Child Protective Services Agents - please come to your senses! Family destruction on false or trivial grounds is wrong, reprehensible, and inhumane.
Fosterers - be aware that for the money you get you are holding much-loved children away from their grieving families while the parents are forced to perform a service plan that is anything but a service to them. I call this hostage holding for the government. This is not kindness - to help misguided government agents destroy family relationships and break loving bonds.
CPS workers and fosterers - I ask that you now give up these unworthy professions and find something more dignified to do with your lives. Let the children of the innocent return to their homes where they are truly valued, adored, and loved by the parents God gave them.
Family rights are God-given rights. And they should not be ignored or postponed. Every moment these loving parents and children spend separated from one another is a torment beyond what anyone should ever have to bear.
It is unworthy of human dignity to allow this terrorism and torture of families to go on without saying something, speaking out, and trying to make a change.

KILLEEN, Texas � A 14-year-old boy who died after being restrained in a classroom by his teachers perished from an excessive amount of pressure to his chest, a preliminary autopsy shows.
Cedrick Napoleon, a special-education student at Manor Middle School, died March 7 about an hour after being restrained. School officials said he was causing problems in his behavior management class.
The teen's foster parents, Wilbert and Toni Price, said classroom staff had restricted Cedrick's food as punishment for his misbehavior.
Cedrick was trying to leave the classroom in search of food when he was restrained, Toni Price said.
She said Cedrick's classmates told her that he told the person holding him down, "I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I give."
I've been concerned about the problem of restraints on children for a long time - ever since my daughter was being restrained at a special ed school in second grade.. before I took her out of the school to be homeschooled. A judge has ordered a smoker to stop lighting up at home or in her car if she wants continued visitation rights with her 13-year-old son who has complained about her pack-a-day habit.
Justice Robert Julian, of Utica, issued the ban although the youth is not allergic to tobacco smoke and doesn't suffer from a health condition, such as asthma, that would be worsened by it.
Citing studies showing the health dangers of secondhand smoke, the judge's 22-page decision issued Friday said the mother's puffing was not in the boy's "best interests."
Where the child's health is involved, the judge said, the court would intervene, even if it meant overriding the parents' religious beliefs.
Florida's foster care programs are not meeting federal goals for the protection of children nor are they providing adequate health and educational services, a draft report issued Tuesday shows.

Carmichael California elementary school principal Deborah Kraus made a false retaliatory accusation of neglect to CPS after a 10-year-old boy was withdrawn from her school, to be homeschooled. The parents did not approve of her policy of allowing other school children to give their child "suspension notices" resulting in 30 days of detention - obviously a blow to his self-esteem.
In January, Sorensen filed the R-4 [private school] affidavit with the state, receiving confirmation that the affidavit was received. She then notified the school that she had filed the R-4 and was formally withdrawing her son. Weeks later, an investigator with Child Protective Service contacted Sorensen regarding a complaint the principal filed accusing her of neglect. The allegation was that Sorensen was not getting proper medical attention for her son, who suffers from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. After interviewing Sorensen, Kraus and the boy's physician, the investigator concluded the neglect charge to be unfounded.
Upon the resolution of the CPS case, Sorensen explains, she started getting letters and phone calls from Tucker regarding her son's "truancy."
Joe Tucker is the school district's representative for SARB - the School Attendance Review Board. He has now referred the matter to the District Attorney and apparently hopes that this mother will be jailed.
It seems like schools will do *anything* for money these days!...some of their dirty tricks include making false accusations to CPS! And these are the people we should want to leave our kids with for 30+ hours per week!? I think not. Government school employees account for the largest percentage of CPS reports... it is a shame and a scandal that we can't trust school employees anymore.

A 63-year-old grandmother who was found guilty of endangering a little boy in her care was sentenced Tuesday for her role in the toddler's death.
NewsChannel5 reported that Jacqueline Clark will spend three years in prison for involuntary manslaughter in the death of 2-year-old Devin Wilder (pictured, below).
Wilder had been placed in foster care after it was believed that his parents were abusing his little sister, Makenna. It was later determined that Makenna suffers from brittle-bone disease, and that's what caused so many of her bones to break.
Prosecutors said that Clark's 15-year-old granddaughter beat and shook Devin to death. The teen was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and is serving time in Devin's death, but the boy's parents said that Clark must share some of the responsibility.
"She left Devin with a 15-year-old and she didn't call 911 until Saturday morning," said Antoinette Artale, Devin's mother. "The doctor said that if he had been taken to the hospital Friday night, there was a 50-50 chance he would have made it."
Clark's attorney said that the grandmother had no idea Devin was injured until the next morning.
Clark apologized to Devin's parents in court Tuesday.
"I cannot replace this child, and I cannot again say to the parents how sorry I am," she said. "I have been in your shoes."
Clark will be transported to prison within the next week.
The boy's parents said that the three-year sentence isn't long enough.

He said the leg injury was an accident.
"The father moved to get a bottle and the baby's leg got caught and was broken," he said.
Gibson said the leg was set and then CPS "shopped around" for a doctor who would authorize further tests.
"The next thing we know is that the baby is being removed," he said.
By appealing Kern's order, Gibson said, CPS officials were "thumbing their nose at the court."
Gibson is part of a legal team put together by Rosenberg businessman Gary Gates, who is in an April 9 runoff for the Republican nomination for the District 28 seat in the state House of Representatives.
Gates has been involved in his own legal battle with Fort Bend County CPS officials and has a lawsuit pending against them.
That case stems from a February 2000 incident in which his 13 children were removed from his home over allegations of abuse. The allegations were never substantiated and the children were returned three days later.
Gates said this latest incident is an example of overzealous CPS officials abusing power.
"If children are being hurt, then let the police arrest the parents and do their job," he said. "Let the doctors and police testify. They shouldn't just pull children out of a house."
A Department of Children & Families manager recommended in November that Marie Jasmin�s foster home be shut down or else "a real tragedy could happen."
By that time, however, a tragedy already had happened, according to four foster children who told police they were sexually abused by Jasmin�s teenage son.
Jasmin and her son, Jacques, were arrested March 8. She is charged with failing to report a child�s rape and neglecting her foster children. She is free on $1,000 bail.
Jacques Jasmin, 18, is being held without bond in Seminole County Jail, accused of raping two little girls, fondling a 4-year-old boy and showing an obscene picture to another boy. All of them were foster children.
It�s not clear whether there were other victims. In her five-plus years as a foster parent, Marie Jasmin cared for at least 65 children and was paid $185,000 by the state. Lake Mary police are questioning as many of the children as they can find.

DCF District 7 Administrator Robert Morin Jr. insisted Wednesday that an internal investigation has found no evidence that caseworkers overlooked signs of sexual abuse.
But Morin admitted that caseworkers had violated at least two policies, and those mistakes may have kept sexual-abuse allegations from coming to light sooner. He also faulted caseworkers for not sharing information.
"We didn�t do a good job," he said.
Morin promised a series of reforms.
I hope his promise isn't as empty as most child welfare administrator "promises". When I think of reforms that didn't happen, I always think of the famous San Diego Grand Jury report, and how little it changed matters. The problem is - our legislators aren't listening. Most of them just don't care. Maybe they're bought off.
A critic of Iowa's child-protection system said caseworkers put 6-year-old Charles Green at risk when they brought him from an Illinois foster home to live with relatives in Des Moines, then checked only twice in nearly six months to monitor his progress.
Authorities say Charles was kicked to death this week by his stepmother, who said after her arrest that she had problems coping with the boy's developmental disabilities.
Charles was taken from his birth mother in 1997 when caseworkers heard allegations of abuse, Illinois Department of Human Services officials said.

A parent of a special-needs child said her family relies on books and family, not social service agencies.
Becky Hankemeier of Elkhart has a 9-year-old son with Asperger's Syndrome, a neurobiological disorder that causes autistic-like behavior.
"For the first five years we couldn't go out to eat or visit our friends, nothing," said Hankemeier, who teaches her son at home. "But we've made it this far."
They probably should have left this child with his mother. Difficult as it may be to take care of a PDD child, the mother probably would have persevered and handled it.
Here's the Bush administration's work to strip away more rights. They are eliminating patient-privacy consent forms.

Doctors and hospitals could disclose private information about patients and provide medical services without prior consent under proposed Bush administration revisions to Clinton-era patient privacy rules.
Privacy advocates protested that the administration is stripping out a core element of the privacy rules. Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., promised hearings and legislation to reinstate the mandatory consent forms.
The rules prohibit health care providers from disclosing patient information for reasons unrelated to health services...
"These are commonsense revisions that eliminate serious obstacles to patients getting needed care and services quickly while continuing to protect patients' privacy," Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson said in a statement.
The revised rules will be published next week and are subject to a 30-day public comment period before becoming final.
I don't think any of us want the kind of "care and services" that Tommy Thompson's department hands out.
Let's see now.... women are paranoid about using domestic violence shelters because they report to CPS... parents are paranoid about taking injured children to the hospital because they report to CPS... parents are paranoid about sending their kids to school because the school employees report to CPS more than any other group of citizens... and now they want the right to sally into our doctor offices and demand private records in the name of "care and services".... God help us!

A MOTHER of eight was jailed for two years yesterday for orchestrating the abduction of a young girl to keep her away from social services.
The court case dated back to January 1999 when, amid fears that social workers in Sunderland were going to take the girl into care, she was removed to Ireland by her grandmother, was joined by Stuart Carnie, the self-styled Freedom for Children campaigner, and then taken to Scotland.
The parents of the young girl and the grandmother were jailed at a Newcastle court for aiding and abetting her abduction last July, in a case then described by Judge Guy Whitburn as a tragedy.
Police who tracked them down discovered Mellor had been in regular e-mail and telephone contact with the family prior to the child's abduction and she co-ordinated the movement of the child while they were on the run between January 22 and February 28, 1999.
At Newcastle Crown Court yesterday, Judge Guy Whitburn said Mellor had plotted the whole abduction.
"You were the Svengali of the whole plan," he said.
Mellor was originally contacted by the family via the internet because they feared their nine-year-old daughter was going to be taken into care.
Doctors had diagnosed the child's mother with Munchhausen's Syndrome by proxy, in which sufferers cause fictitious diseases in their children.
Judge Whitburn told Mellor: "What you are guilty of is orchestrating the abduction of a child for your own propaganda purposes."
I'm sure Mellor didn't help for "propaganda purposes"... this judge's short-sighted comments may fool him but most of the world will know Mellor was only trying to help the family in need.
For what its worth, I do not advocate running from CPS agents. I am in favor of fighting it out through an aggressive campaign in the courtroom, and I'm in favor of changing child welfare laws so that they will honor Constitutional Rights.
