To Fosterers: If you are receiving checks from social services for the caretaking of children then you are cooperating with an agency that is known to destroy families. That makes fostering part of an evil system. It is not praiseworthy. It is not respectable. Social services is out of control, taking children that should not be taken, wrecking families that should not be wrecked, and to cooperate with it in any way is to promote evil. If you take even one child into your home knowing full well that social services is doing immoral and unethical things to hurt American families, you are just as guilty as any other part of the system. To clarify my position on the fostering profession I realize there are a few children out there who have no family members to live with, however for the most part children stuck in the state custody system today do have relatives that could be taking care of them. Because of the Orwellian anti-family laws CPS works with, excess red-tape discouraging relative caretakers, and a lack of compassion or true efforts to help keep families together, most foster children are taken from their natural families unfairly. This is why I discourage people from becoming fosterers. I realize many of you just want to help kids, but no matter how innocent this intention is, it is helping to support a system that is neither just nor humane. Furthermore, it puts fosterers at risk of false accusations and painful government interference in their homes. Please, if you're considering becoming a fosterer, think twice. The more you support this system, the more there will be children traumatized and terrorized by forced and unjust family separations.
