• Email to CA Assembly Member Dennis Mountjoy - April 20, 2001- this was sent in support of AB 681, a pending bill authored by Mountjoy re: investigation into the issue of psychotropic drugs administered to foster children.


• Email to NYC Mayor Giuliani - When I saw that a New York City social worker was complaining about a new child detention center built inside an old hospital morgue, I took his advice and wrote a note to the mayor's office. Independent research showed the report about the morgue children's center has been in the NYC news, and is a well-known embarrassment to the authorities there... so when the response from that office feigned no knowledge of this, I was very amused.


• Op-Ed Column Published in the Siskiyou Daily News - this started as a letter to the editor that got too long. He published it on January 22, 2002 in the space reserved for editorials!
